Bio

Blacksberg Associates, LLC, organized in 2011, provides consulting services focused on strategic and tactical analysis, planning, design and implementation of technologies for law practice. Blacksberg Associates is forging business partnerships with vendors that provide distinctive and highly productive tools and technology infrastructure for law practice.

Bob’s experience spans two decades of technology consulting and implementation, following a law practice in which he was a partner at two Philadelphia law firms. Bob is a certified NetDocuments consultant.

Bob served as Director, Practice and Project services at Drinker Biddle & Reath, where he led the adoption of the iManage document management system, SharePoint and Plumtree portal technologies and served as project manager for other key projects, including disaster recovery.

Earlier Bob was Director, Practice Services, at TechLaw, leading consulting engagements and implementations of document management, Microsoft Office and document assembly tools at law firms, corporate law departments and government agencies across the United States. He practiced law at the firms Cohen, Shapiro, Polisher, Shiekman and Cohen and Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen, concentrating in municipal and corporate finance.

Bob serves world music as Chair of the Management Committee of KlezKanada, based in Montreal. In Philadelphia, his home, he has held numerous leadership positions, including services as President, at Society Hill Synagogue. He  plays clarinet with the Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds and the Philadelphia Wind Symphony.

Bob earned his J.D. at Harvard Law School and A.B. at The University of Chicago.
